Sweet, shy little Cosmo is one of 15 small dogs (hoarding case that mandated dogs be turned into the local pound) on January 2, 2018. A plea went out to get her rescued because she was coughing (had kennel cough) that the staff said, despite being seen and treated medically, she wasn’t getting better. The pound is NOT the environment to get better! SO, she was pulled on Thursday, 1/11/18, and brought straight to the Vet. Blood work, x-rays, physical exam were done. Fortunately, no pneumonia (what the pound feared) but an upper respiratory infection and a few worms, all of which have been treated! She is on the road to a healthy little girl and will be ready for adoption soon.
Cosmo is a little timid but will warm up with confidence and consistent love and care. She is a little girl at only 9# and quite the beautiful one w/these piercing black eyes!
Prefer her to be the only dog spoiled rotten or with another small dog and no children under 8 years old.
